Your Challenge

  • Loss prevention primarily within the EU region
  • Responsible for the security oversight in Europe
  • Conduct security site surveys, risk assessments, analysis and audits for CIT/VIT companies, General Truckers/Hauler’s and Airline Security Handling Agents which fall under the responsibility of Europe
  • Working with regional European branches to direct audit procedures and undertake audits
  • Conducting of inventory and of security audits of the vaults 
  • Define, document, implement and improve all the required risk and security procedures, and ensure that internal security guidelines are being applied
  • Development of reports in relation to the risk assessments, security surveys and audits performed, and ensure information is recorded in the risk management software (Synergi)
  • Provide guidance and support to onsite teams in identifying hazards and minimizing risk
  • Providing guidance and support to onsite teams to enhance their ability to meet security, risk and compliance requirements
  • To assist in the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of the firm's risk and compliance management frameworks
  • Development and review of security/risk/operational policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Assess and direct remediation of any compliance or risk incidents
  • Provide practical risk advisory services to stakeholders, including risk profiling, control assurance, oversight, compliance, incident management and knowledge governance
  • Working with the different remediation programs and understanding what each area needs
  • Develop and implement risk management training and awareness programs across the organization
  • Loss investigation and handling of claims


  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred
  • Experience in a loss prevention/security related profession or in the CVIT industry would be highly regarded
  • Insurance and/or Security/Risk related audit background preference in a similar industry
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • English fluency a must
  • Applicants must have the right to work in Europe

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Highly flexible and willing to go the extra mile – this is not a 9-to-5 role
  • Hands-on attitude, taking initiative, acting and thinking pro-actively during the performance of his/her duties.
  • Understanding of research and investigation planning (preference)
  • High level of competence of MS Office Products
  • Frequent travel required, primarily within Europe
